I need to update my PRS style family, as they make up over 50% of my collection now. This picture is a few months old, so a few of them are gone but more have replaced them. I'll get an updated family picture up sometime

Wow! That looks amazing! I have 6 PRS type (4 are real PRS's) the others are a kit I'm building and a Wolf. Definitely my type, too! Yours put my collection to shame!

That is a darn impressive collection. Is there a reason you don't have any PRS singlecuts? Just don't gel with them?

I have this guy to scratch that particular itch:

But generally, I prefer the double cut, both for aesthetics and for upper fret access (assuming one day I'll go higher than 12th fret

)

It's quantity over quality for me. They are mostly Korean (PRS SE, Agile, Dillion, etc), a growing number of Bentons and others from Vietnam. I do have a core Mira that was savagely relic'd by the former owner (which I got for cheap), and a couple of Carvin CT6's (all three are not in the picture, I'll add them soon)
IIRC, your aforementioned 4 PRS are some ridiculously pretty 10 tops. I sometimes flirt with the idea of condensing them into a few super instruments, but overall, I like the variety and not worrying about dinging them.

And now you know the real reason I like relics

Mitchell MS400. Criminally underrated!
Every one I've seen had an amazing quilt top. Wood binding on body and neck, locking tuners, surprisingly good stock pickups, coil splits. The neck shape is one of my favorites - just the right amount of beef. You can often get them for 3 bills when GC or MF is running a sale.

I have had dozens over the years, but I'm fine with just the Artist Package Custom 24 I have now.

To rich for my pocketbook. But I DO like PRS and PRS-inspired guitars.

here's an older pic
I no longer have the single cut, but I replaced it with a 35th Anniversary Custom 24 10 Top

Here's mine. Not overly huge fan of it and should have returned it instead of "giving it a little more time". Maybe I will one day own a USA one, but only if my money tree grows. I still threatening to try different pickups just haven't had time to wind some.

I think I'll always keep this one. It plays effortlessly and sounds great acoustically and plugged in. I play my Strat much more though because I just love that damn guitar! But this is a great change of pace for me occasionally.
