Can this be my main amp? I can shuttle it between our practice space and home while maintaining some tonal cohesion. I want my Princeton Reverb to live at home, mostly.

From what I can gather from the YouTube vids and web...
- The included power supply produces up to 25 tube watts (too much for my situation but whatevs)
- A regular 9v One Spot can kick out 1 watt (good for home)
- It powers all of the line out features. Does that mean it's built-in delay and reverb or my pedals?

The output (is this correct)?...
- XLR can link to: the PA head, a dedicated speaker cab or a DAW interface
- Made for 8 ohm cabs but can adapt to 4s and 16s with power attenuation.
- I can use my combo cab (assuming that later that I don't power it up without a speaker load).

Suggestions and insights appreciated. Talk me into it or tell me to forget it.

This is my home rig. It's kind of the same thing, right? Is $275 (plus a cab down the road) worth it for a "main rig?"

I wanted one. Decided to use Prymaxe's 25% off and went for the Overderive 202 instead. I don't think the Superblock was in stock at that time. I'll just say that I'm impressed with their quality and price.

I haven't tried this unit specifically, but thanks o @golem , @pratteman and a neighbor - I've tried the Quilter small format power amps. They sound realy good and I believe you could create a very nice pedal-platform amp with this.

Don't be misled into thinking this will be 99% like a big vintage tube amp, except at lower volumes. IMHO, it will be a nice musical and usable amp at lower volumes and on small stages.

I have a Quilter Micro Block 45 not as nice as the Super Block but still if I were still gigging I would have no problem using it as a back up in case my main amp crapped out but only in an emergency. I am not a big fan of the tone I have a 1watt Blackstar that has great tone I would use it as my main gigging amp just drop a mic in front of it and run it through the PA. Just my 2 cents

I used to have a Crate Power Block. Was a nice little set up.

I think I'd add that it seems like Quilter has gotten better with every gen. Saying it or isn't like a tube amp in sound gets complicated. I will say it's good enough that I could see it being the mean gigging amp for many players:

I do not gig but I have the Superblock UK. If I gigged it would be paired up with a Neo 12" speaker for an ultra light rig. You can go direct or mic it up and it should work fine for gigging. The reverb is functional and I really like the cleans that come out of Quilter amps.
