About a month ago I found one of these invasive planarians living on my patio under a concrete pot that provides water for the outdoor cats. At first I thought it was a very young snake, possibly a copperhead, so I was very curious about what it actually was. After doing some research I learned that it was what is commonly known as an "arrowhead worm." They have the same neurotoxin as a puffer fish. For point of reference, I'm situated in North Carolina. Apparently they made their way here by way of infected plants and soil.Tonray's Ghost wrote: ↑Mon Nov 27, 2023 11:14 pm Extremely Venomous centipede alert. Garden hazard.

Not my pic, but one exactly like the arrowhead worm found on my patio.
