Can't believe we missed this here . always considered UFOs "other guy thats not Schenker but really not fair. Some of the great stuff from ufo was during his era. He died June 10th.
He was on no place to run, wild willing and innocent and Mechanix. Lots of very solid songwriting with Mogg on these albums. Word was he was also a hell of a nice guy. I heard he was giving guitar lessons in florida a few years back. That would have been a kick.

Hmm. lots of reads but no comments. Guess we'll have to wait till Schenker kicks off?

I wished him a Happy Birthday on the morning of June 9 and that night his daughter was posting that he died later in the day.
There's going to be a celebration of his life at a popular venue here in September. I'd love to play at it and I hope some UFOs show up.
