Very little snow this year so it's been hard to get the mood a-rollin'. I'm thankful for what I've been blessed with and am looking forward to the next few days which will include some fun activities. I wish that I lived closer to family, though.

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah, fellas!

Merry Christmas and Happy Whatever particular politically correct holiday you might celebrate to all. I got a polo shirt. Was hoping for a Gibson Custom Shop 335 but it's a nice shirt.

And before the pics or it didn't happen crowd wakes up :

I jokingly mentioned to the GF that I can't wear this when I visit the USA in 2025 for fear of being deported to Guadalajara on a misunderstanding at the airport immigration booth. 😂😂😂

Merry Christmas all! We've been spending time with family and friends and keeping it pretty low key here in Northern WI. There's enough fake snow to have our local ski Hill open for a few runs today and yesterday. Traveled to the in-laws last weekend and off to see my parents next. My oldest son is a Paramedic and had to work Christmas day so we took cookies and treats for the whole crew this afternoon. No new guitar gear under the tree for me this year, I have way more than I need and usually just buy what I want when I find it - and i'm thankful i'm able to do so ;-) Blessing and good cheer to all of you and your families, it's a rough time of the year for many too.

Happy holidays, everyone!!
I've been flying solo, except for my cat, because I have no family in town. My father is my only family member who still lives in San Antonio, and he's at his other house in Albuquerque.
It's been ok, as I've been texting and having phone calls with friends and family members...but it feels a bit anticlimactic. I'm missing my mom, because she loved Christmas and I spent the vast majority of my Christmases with her until she passed (in 2019).

I've sort of been wanting to treat myself to a present...but haven't been able to pull the trigger on anything. I hope y'all got some good gifts.

Wishing you a joyous season!

Hanging with the family. My wife technically convinced me to special order a Mojotone aged 1x15 cabinet which will match my 1964 Fender Vibroverb. so I can use the original JBL D130 speaker (an acquired taste) and the Weber 15F150 (a clone of a worn-in mid-60's ceramic Jensen, which is more my cup of tea). She has claimed that as her present to me. You can be sure that I will post pictures once I get everything in place (end of January?).

I am also working on a Free Way Ultimate toggle pickup selector switch, to replace the cumbersome 5-Way rotary in my 1992 PRS CE24. I want to start playing that guitar at open mic nights and just cannot maneuver the rotary like I once did.
