This is another original track by my new project VELVET VAMPS, something appropriate for the week leading up to Halloween.
Some of you folks may remember the 1966 Hammer Horror film The Witches, which was released in the United States as The Devil's Own. The video synched with my original music is from that film. I find the pairing both spooky and funny, with Joan Fontaine's horrified facial expressions throughout providing some surprising moments of synchronicity between music and imagery.
For guitars on the track I used a MIK Gretsch Electromatic modified with USA Filtertrons, an EVH 5150 Standard, and an Epiphone SG bass.
