End of the weekend tune.. All Kemper this time

Got inspired watching a MUSICISWIN video on youtube where Tyler tried out Jack White's new pedal which sounds freaking BAD @$$!

So I went to work on the Kemper to try to reproduce the pedal with a really fuzzed out, crunchy tone. Hopefully it sounds good.
I played this all on the Kemper using my Firefly FF338 that is pretty much bone stock other than the bridge I replaced.

The leads were compliments of my VTT Telecaster with the Duncan QuarterPound pickups. :)

Hope you like it!

That wah’d guitar on the right sounds very nearly like there’s a guimbard sproinging away back there. This was one of my faves, for sure.

I will freely admit my ears probably can't tell the difference between your Kemper, your AxeFX or any of the devices you use, but it's clear you are master of making them sound great. I hear some Ramones in this one which is a good thing. That's one thing I notice about your work - a very wide range of sounds and what seems to be a wide range of influences too.

Once again, fantastic work! I think this one might be my favorite so far, I like how you tackled new ground.

Thanks for including the references to equipment and especially to pickups, I love when people give mini rig rundowns!

Where do you like in humbuckers lately? I've been kinda swapping them around a bit and would love your thoughts on the subject.

As usual, thanks a bunch for taking a listen and really glad you guys enjoyed the tune .

I'll try to give mini rig rundowns where possible. I usually only change guitars but this time I wanted to try something new. :) And yes, I try my best to take in as much influence from different genre's as possible. Although I was never a punk fan or got into it much, I picked up a lot from the foo fighters and trying to listen to Dave's influences which of course are tons of punk bands.
Jack White is an intersting cat too. While I don't particularly like the person, I really admire his creativity.

As for pickups... I'm very partial to my Buddha Narshbuckers. Freaking love those things. So naturally, anything similar to that like BKP warpigs, Juggernauts, Kiesel Lithiums, Seymour Duncan Nazgul/Sentients for heavy stuff. Low gain is usually something like a Seymour Duncan 59 or the Quarterpounds. I'm all over the place really. Each guitar I have speaks differently so it depends on what I'm looking for on a specific day.
But if I had to take only 1 guitar to a desert island, it would be my Kiesel Aries 7 which is loaded with Kiesel Lithiums. Those particularly sound amazing on an Alder body.
I have lithiums on a black limba Kiesel SCB and they sound harsh. Not as bad as on the vader I had, ripped them out and replaced them with Narshbuckers which had the guitar sounding like it had Dimarzio Evo's.

Thanks for your input.

Looks like you're going all in with the premium pickup lines, and from the tone I'm getting that's this close (holds 'air pinching' fingers up) to what I want, but not quite all the way there - I'm going to have to bite the bullet and do the same.

I've got a Tonerider Octane on the way and a few more experiments with the pickup heights and amp sim settings on other middle range pickups I have. Hopefully, I can get the clarity I'm looking for. I am nowhere near your skill level, but I've been playing long enough now that I know when I like something.

Fishman and Bareknuckle have been on my radar for a while, and ever since I put a Railhammer Huevos 90 bridge in my tele I've been obsessed with the idea of P90 hybrids. Those prices kinda scare me, I don't have the play-money I used to.

Buddha Pickups man. Narshbuckers were designed to be hotter than Warpigs/Juggernaught's and are clear as can be
