Been working on this off and on for a couple of months as I get time. Thought I'd post the rough mix. Lots of obvious influences here.

Almost forgot gear:
2010 LP Studio
Heavily modded $70 strat
50's CV Tele
SX Ursa Pro bass
A bit of crunch from below on the LP and strat. Tele is basically clean with chorus/delay.
Green Rhino-->Mooer Chorus-->TCE Flashback-->VHT Classic 6.
All effects on the guitars except for ADT and a bit more delay here and there were pedals. Added delay and other tweaks in the DAW (Reaper).

Well done sir. I enjoyed this song. The beginning put me in mind of the Go Gos. I mean that as a compliment. You never know how people might view a "comparison". : )

I hadn't noticed that, but you're right--it bears resemblance to the bass riff on We Got The Beat. Definitely!
Actually played that tune in a band way back in the day.

Thanks! Thats what I was going for, without trying to totally ape them.
