Neural DSP - Archetype Nolly Test

Been meaning to do this for a while and now that I had time I finally did.

Recorded this with nothing but Neural DSP Archetype Nolly and some minor Post FX.

Its only 10 tracks which is way way way under my usual and sounds pretty good. A bit more processed than I'm used to but man, its pretty darn good. Well worth the $$. Bass is Neural DSP's Parallaxe which I can't say enough good things about.

Its crazy how we have all these tools at our disposal, this truly is the golden age of guitar effects/processing/modeling IMHO.

2 Rhy Guitars, recorded Mono but switched to stereo to kind of mimic the quad tracking I usually do.
2 Lead guitars - different amps panned slightly L/R
1 Bass Guitar
2 Clean Guitars - different Amps
1 Crunch guitar - heavy predelay

Hope you guys like it. I used my Sterling JD100D and the Yamaha TRBX305 bass.

Listened to this one on headphones and there is a clear difference to me. Sounds darn good but not quite at the level of the Kemper/AxeFX. One annoying thing is that you can't fade the tracks correctly. The noise gate of the plugin gets in the way quite a bit.

Sounds great! I have Archetype Nolly and Archetype Abasi - Abasi is really very heavy on the bass.

You're right though, for the money it's great what we can have access to!
