Picked this up at my local GC this morning. It is in good shape. GC said Great. Hyperbole I think but whose counting? Anyway it is a nice amp . I'll have to see if it grows on me over time as this this is the first acoustic amp I've ever bought. i was just looking for something that had instrument and microphone channels. So far so good.

Be forewarned, acoustic amps do everything possible to keep from going into distortion of any kind
that being because acoustic players DO NOT LIKE DISTORTION! :D

It's okay Mickey. I rarely ever use distortion. I have other amps for that. :D

Well, after putting this amp through it's paces I began to acquire a mild case of PPD. (post purchase dissonance) And after giving it a great deal of thought came to the conclusion to return it to GC which I did this morning. Reason? Too heavy. The associates at GC were more than pleasant about the return and quickly refunded the full price and tax. Very good experience.

I think that is the one gripe about peavey everyone has. WEIGHT, no one ever say it's so light it must be a peavy.
