Found my guitar photo being used on Reverb

Here's something funny I found today: I was browsing around Reverb, thinking of getting another Duesenberg Les Trem, and I pulled up a listing. And I immediately said, hey, that guitar in the photo looks awfully distinctive. A blue-green LP-type, with all cream plastics, speed knobs, and humbucker-sized P90s, fitted with a Les Trem? How many of those can there be around?

So I did a little sniffing around, and sure enough, that's my old guitar.

Sometimes when you post a picture on a website you lose ownership of said photo. Probably written in the fine print. Owner can then sell the photos. Profit, but not for you.

Yeah, that is entirely possible. OTOH, I doubt that GRA8CO paid anyone for the rights for it either; they probably just did a Google Images search and copied what they liked.

I found a site recently that used my pic of my Main St T style with a Duesy trem. Dont know why. That trem wasnt spec'd on that guitar and I sold em separately.

this is why unless I don't care, I watermark my images right the way across the middle of the pic diagonally.

If you gave no specific usage permissions, demand removal of your image.
