Excellent call @peskypesky1.

The bones of this guitar are an excellent example of an early production MIK Agile with an open book headstock and correct Gibson horn.

That being said, it is not in original condition. It has been ungraded with the TP-6 Fine Tuning Tailpiece which is beloved by @LightWingStudios. The pickups are also in question.

I implore my fellow AGF members. . . no, I actually beg them to assist me in an online autopsy on this old Agile corpse. I welcome any distraction that will relieve me from Mrs TMc's relentless updates about Gene Hackman, mouse poop, the FBI, murder, aliens, tunnels, and Epstein connections.

Ebony fretboard suggesting a higher end model number.

That looks like my quilt top 2800 I got from devdem. It looks like rosewood fb to me.

It also looks like I see a pg hole near the neck pickup ring though. Mine didn't come with a pg.

Someone snagged it

That one has been sitting on GC/mf for several months. I had finally forgotten about it and my temptation to buy it..thanks a lot ;-)

I am not the expert, but I did dig into these a while back, so maybe I can shed a little light on this one. It looks to be an Agile LP2500 in cherry sunburst from around 2000-2001.

The specs are as follows:
Body - full thickness mahogany (both of mine are 2 piece), carved top, flamed maple veneer, can't remember if it has a maple cap or not. single ply binding.
Neck - 3 piece maple with scarf joint, set neck, rosewood board, mop inlays, typical slim agile neck profile, plastic nut, open book headstock, single ply neck and headstock binding, standard nickel frets
Hardware - grover tuners, typical import bridge and base
Electronics - chrome covered ceramic humbuckers, import box switch, full sized alpha pots

The one in question appears to have replaced pickups and bridge at least. I have had several LP type guitars, but I have kept both of these over the years. I'm not sure what it is, the set maple neck, or maybe the neck profile that fits me well, but they ring out and feel amazing in the hand. Both of mine had typical great Korean fit, finish, and fretwork.

Have you heard the one about the tunnels connecting to an underground heroin ring headquartered in Marseille ? :D
