I´m talking about the AD3200 2TS
And I´m also talking about the AL3200 Tobacco Wide.
You´re not helping with my intention of fooling myself to consider other options...BatUtilityBelt wrote: ↑Sun Jul 30, 2023 3:00 pm My AD-3200 is my favorite Agile. It just sounds great and plays like butter. Even though I don't spend much time at the highest frets, I am impressed by the access afforded by the neck heel (pretty much no heel at all).
I guess guitars are like cars and so many other things in life, there´s so many different tastes.
Whenever you want to get rid of it, let me know... I´ll sell a kidney, but I´ll take it from you!
Humbucker sized P-90s would be easy enough. You could also maybe go for a set of nickel/chrome covered EMGs, maybe even a humbucker sized set of TV Jones Classics (the latter apparently work well in solid body guitars). Any of those would give you something noticeably different in terms of sound and tone...
I have a Cabronita Tele which scratches that itch really well. I don't currently own anything with P-90's so that is probably the leading candidate.
There are quite a few choices for HB sized P90s. I've got Tonerider Rebel 90s, Harpmaster, GFS Mean 90s and a couple sets of Buddhas...
I have a TV Jones Classic and classic plus in my Harm (which came with soapbar P-90's.)tobijohn wrote: ↑Fri Sep 29, 2023 10:24 am

I have a Classics/Classics Plus set with a P90 form factor that I've been meaning to get into an AS-1000 GT for the last five years. Maybe as soon as I get an AD-3200 project done that has been on the kitchen table for the last four months...
It seems that nobody wants to get rid of the AD3200. I suppose it makes clear enough that it is a good guitar.Chocol8 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 29, 2023 10:11 am I'd consider parting with the AL-3000, but definitely not the AD-3200's!
The first AD immediately became the only LP type dual humbucker guitar I play 99% of the time, with the AL kept as a backup. Now that I have the second, one, the AL is probably going to sit in a case completely unplayed unless I come up with something to do with it. P-90's? High action for slide? Sell it?
I don't recall ever seeing one of those on the Rondo site, or anywhere else for that matter. Do you know what the model number is?Partscaster wrote: ↑Fri Sep 29, 2023 5:04 pm SX makes a double cut. But it isnt in the same gorgeous class.
Not sure about it either, but I´ll take a look at SX guitars.tobijohn wrote: ↑Fri Sep 29, 2023 5:53 pmI don't recall ever seeing one of those on the Rondo site, or anywhere else for that matter. Did you look at their web page? They have SG style guitars, but those are not what I´ll be looking for...Partscaster wrote: ↑Fri Sep 29, 2023 5:04 pm SX makes a double cut. But it isnt in the same gorgeous class.
Ok. Didn´t remember that - must be because I´m not particularly attracted to F-holes guitar -. Yes, symmetrical double cut solid body, as AD Agile guitars and AR Ibanez guitars. And yes, it´s the Jazz Series from SX according to their page.tobijohn wrote: ↑Fri Sep 29, 2023 9:02 pm OK, Rondo offered the SX GG5 and GG6 years ago, I assumed what @Partscaster referenced was a symmetrical solid body. I've got a black GG6 with gold hardware:
