just curious what's being posted there if anything.

I spammed pretty aggressively while drinking my coffee, but haven't seen anything since my posts. I'm guessing I'm blocked or something.

Stopped going there after the first day. I don’t want to even give them any site traffic that they can leverage.

I created a dummy account for reconnaissance and artillery spotting purposes, that I access with my desktop, I won’t download the phone app. It’s a pitiful mess that shamefully still shows a mishmash of our latest pre-MoMo threads. There were a few new terrible post-Momo threads, such as one asking how many times you change your guitar strings, and the thread introducing the new regime which also professed the new Admin’s love of “DAVE GILMOUR”, but I went on today and those were gone.

I see they have created a "private" section of the new place for Well-Hung guitar straps (my old dealer section). I wonder how a fella gets access?

Maybe "DAVE GILMOUR" sent them a Cease and Desist Order. ROFLMAO!

The worst side effect of the great AGF Backstab Apocalypse of 2020, is that the legendary Pink Floyd guitarist has been ruined, in that I don’t think I can ever call him anything but “Dave” Gilmour, at least here on AGF...it’s become part of AGF lore 😂

If Dan F is a Metallica fan, do you think he likes Jim Hetfield? Or James Page from the mighty Zeppelin?

I'd like to punch Major Tom in the face for what he did. We lost an entire archive of knowledge for no good reason.

Thankfully a lot of people have been salvaging as much history as they can from the smoldering wreck that is the old AGF forum (not the MoMo spyware imposter). I’ve gone back and saved a lot of NGD pics, PM’s, important threads, etc. Once the badly sinking old AGF has the plug pulled, you’ll have to go on MoMo to retrieve anything of value. If you have a MoMo account of course and who knows what the data miner forum gobblers will delete or make inaccessible?

If you signed up there initially through your AGF account, you can easily grab your old threads in their entirety. Simply click on one of them in the left side bar and all the posts will appear in the right sidebar. Highlight them, copy and paste to any new document that supports html (i.e. MS Word) and paste. From that you can print to a PDF file.

The way MOMO is set up, you theoretically can search for a member and in the details section, see all their posts. However, that doesn't seem to be working at this time so creating a dummy account to access your old threads isn't working at this time. After the migration is completed, who knows as it's apparent from comments here from members who are in that industry that the migration has been poorly conceived and poorly executed...

FWIW, I just went back over there and grabbed my very first AGF thread.

EDIT: I just noticed though that the initial post in the thread has to be copied separately. However, once you do that, then go over to the right sidebar, highlight all of it and copy it in to the same document with your initial post...

Never signed up and have zero plans to at the moment. Shame so much history will be lost. Time to create more here.

Currently there are many threads that have been spammed with the picture pointing people to come here. The same one you had spammed all over, but these are now being posted under the name "Fuck Momo" and it appears they are really struggling to keep up with the cleanup efforts. A very small staff of non=tech savy people running a forum with poorly designed and poorly executed beta code without all the lessons learned that are backed into PHPBB admin and moderator tools. Its somewhat hilarious to see the whole thing imploding on them. I wonder how long before they give up and delete all references to aguitarforum?

I noticed that they are proudly professing that they have over 12,500 members or something like that. What utter nonsense.

So I was browsing the other public forums. Jae Sjin is the top or only poster in most. They also go back to 2015, so this product has failed to gain an once of traction in over 5 years! BTW, the Agileguitarforum1 is still there and public. I don't dare to join it or he might realize Heywood Jablowme is not a real person and ban me! :D

LinkedIn CEO just stepped down. YouTube got caught censoring words that go against the CCP. Google and Facebook are under massive investigations and lawsuits. And we just got an executive order that caught Twitter red handed breaking the law.

It's amazing how all these social media censorship issues conveniently seem to be happening at once, especially at such a predictable time that I warned you about in 2018. :)

For now, the AGF portion of the MOMO site is in lockdown, I assume so that all the AGF.net related posts there can be cleaned up. As of yesterday evening there were a few posts subsequent to 5/25 but they had been generated by the new owner and his minions, nothing from the AGF rank and file or any new members:
