Tried to go lo-fi.
This started and ended in two totally different places but I think it was a fun one to put together. Almost fell asleep it was so chill.
I used a drum loop to make it sound more - lo-fi chill-ish. Its not necessarily my cup of tea, but figured I'd try something different. Hope you guys enjoy.
I think this is the first song you've done that doesn't sound like you...and not in a bad way, as this song is awesome! I get a Pink Floyd type vibe from it, and not so much that the guitar sounds like Gilmour, but the overall song has this quality that made me think of instrumental Floyd pieces, or the longer instrumental parts of various Floyd songs.
I think it was Doc who said that he really likes it when you play slow; I'm still mostly a metalhead, so I like both, but man, when you play slow, your tone is to die for...so emotive and just soaring. Nicely done, as always!

Thanks brother! My lead tone is usually a Mesa mark V with a tube screamer in front and cranked mids. This time I went with a Vox ac30
Very nice and I agree, it's a departure and not what I expected but in a good way. You can definitely hear the voxy-ness that comes in later on too. Usually your songs remind me of something, this one does not....very unique and original sounding. Calming is probably the best word I could come up with to describe how it makes me feel.

I agree with that, calming is a good word. I seriously started nodding off when I was recording it. My most recent tune, isn't so calming.
Kidding. For some reason a cinematic image of somebody riding in a taxi, looking out of the window, late at night in a big city came to mind. Thats just me, though.
The other was a child staring at an empty package of Dots (except for the yellow ones). joke.

Yep, and I stand by my statement. Narsh is amazing when he plays slow emotional blues!
