Funny thing is that, although I have been in low profile mode for a while, I still managed to rank in the 12th position LOL :shock:

No surprise who are the top 10ers.

But we got to keep it coming MORE! ("Buy more guitars and gear" gives you a hint, everybody?) :)

I thought it was one of those invasive species, Asian murder hornets, but i emailed the state and was told it was a European hornet. I have never seen them before and they are huge, the murder hornets are supposedly bigger.

Yeah, looks like a European Hornet to me, the Asian ones are darker - much less colour.

I am keeping an eye on our roof cavity, as I saw a huge European hornet find its way in there a few weeks back. I checked the roof a year ago, and there wasn't any sign of rotting wood, so I'm hoping its an exploration and move on situation.

On a somewhat serious note, there are several Firefly groups on Facebook. Most of them are private and I was part of one back when FF was first coming on the scene. The one I was part of was maintained by a guy who was purportedly an "insider" and was always getting free guitars from someone named George who was allegedly the owner/creator of FF itself.

There was an incredible amount of drama which I'm not a huge fan of, I was mainly there as I had 3 successive orders for the F335 that all ended up being lemons. There was a core group of zealots to which FF could do no wrong, and any dissent or bad words about the brand usually resulted in getting banned from the group, which led to the spawning of more groups, etc.

Bottom line I ended up getting my money back and turning in my membership card for all of them. There is one public one called "firefly guitar enthusiasts" which seems a bit more even-keeled, but it's FB so there's always that.

FF does seem to be coming out with a pretty wide array of new models and the public group is really abuzz lately as a result, lots of NGD posts and such.
