Tidbit: 1976, on first visit to Asia, backpacking on my way to Chiang Mai by train.
All of a sudden everybody stands up, bows towards a distant monument.
A temple in Ayutthaya, I later figured.
Knowing a little bit about Thai culture, I just did the same!
This happened a few more times on the (long) way up to the northern town.
Early July. The Thai paddy fields were this hypnotic green, as far as you could see, all the way to the far mountains of Burma, Laos.

The other farm cats didn’t super love him but the chickens thought he was alright so he became a chicken.

Sold my little Mooer amp and GP-100 pedal unit. That was packed up photo as buyer sent a driver to pick up and then with pic paid me via bank xfer before driver departed

like motion) is done whenever a devout Buddhist Thai passes a notable shrine. Happens even on the metro in Bangkok or when they walk past a noted shrine on the sidewalk.
