I know I don't post much. I don't have much to share. But I got this used guitar a month already and thought of sharing. Long story. Sorry. I just like guitars with a back story.

I know I should be saving money considering that eggs costs 5x more. But... at $135, I couldn't let this chance pass!

I have 2 guitars with odd tunings, so I thought of having a normal E standard tuned guitar for just in case. On a budget, my plan was to only buy if it really means to me and if the guitar "talks to me." If that makes sense, and if it was ridiculously priced.

Backstory:
I had a Laguna guitar that I really loved playing. I tired it at a mom's and pops store and couldn't let go of it. So, I traded in my my Ibanez 7-string for it. Laguna is a Guitar Center house brand, developed by Keith Brawley (former Fender exec), but that's another long story that I may post later. I regret letting go of that guitar as it really played and sounded good. It didn't get any mods because there was no need. So, I thought that if I see one at a reasonable price, I would take it.

Then, I found this guitar on Reverb for $150. It was a different model than I previously had. This had a Floyd Rose, so I hesitated. I usually stay away from Floyds. But, for the price of $150... which they later took my offer of $135, I had to take it! I received it a week ago all the way from Island Music Company in La Playa, MD!

I'm keeping this stock until something gives. It's already good as-is. Except for some truss rod adjustments, everything was good! I didn't even have to intonate, luckily. Dive bombs on a Floyd is just way cooler, I have to say!

Here she is, all dolled up!

I'll probably record how she sounds like one of these days.

My only qualm is... How do I clear those spots on the glossy finish?

Anybody else out there who has a Laguna or experience with one?

I've never tried a Laguna, but I have one rule. If it plays good and it sounds good, it is good! Looks are a bonus. Happy NGD!

Nice find! As for the spots in the finish, it's hard to be sure without being able to see them in person, but I bet your local auto shop has polishing products that could take them out.
