I thought you would recognize the pics? A buddy of mine in Oregon sent them to me.
The top one is of Mount Hood & the bottom one is Crater Lake.

yeah Ford closed Mercury in 2010, but still keep the trademark active . Just in case or more like sue anyone who trys to use it without buying the name. I always fety they were their middle tier maybe built a bit better Fords answ er to Olds or Buick. I still remember my fathers 66 Toronado kept 2 years and traded like everyone did then. Later on he regretted letting it go. I would have been 10-12 years old I probably wanted him to keep it for my 16th birthday.

It does look pretty west coasty! And boy does both CA and OR beat VA weather. Humidity AND heat shouldn't go together.
I disremember if I made it to Crater Lake as a kid. Klamath for sure, and Shasta for camping and boating.
